From our nationwide Energy Efficiency programme to our Product team, we help our customers get everything they want and expect from an energy supplier like npower.
You could come and work in any of the following teams:
Energy Savings
We're responsible for meeting npower's obligations under the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT), a regulatory requirement which involves the delivery of energy efficiency measures into domestic homes up until March 2011. As part of the UK's drive to reduce domestic carbon emissions, our team is committed to implementing a nationwide programme which promotes more efficient energy use - whether that's through house insulation, low energy light bulb distribution or educational initiatives within disadvantaged communities. It's a challenging and busy area of work, but the results are just as rewarding. Our work covers a variety of areas from Planning, Finance & Budget Management to Customer Journey Development.

Energy Management
From smartmeters and small scale renewables to energy and carbon saving assessments, it's our job to provide npower business customers with a range of products to help them reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Product
Developing a wide range of energy services and products for both the residential and business markets, it's our responsibility to help our customers reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint. We work with a huge variety of sustainable technologies - including micro generation, solar thermal and ground source heats pumps - and there's a large team on hand to keep everyone up-to-date with the latest developments. But we also carry out numerous other activities, such as developing business strategy, conducting primary and secondary research and understanding market segment needs to build compelling business cases.
We offer a range of roles, such as:
- Heating Trade Development Manager
Responsible for the delivery of advancements in traditional heating technology - including low and zero carbon products - you'll provide expertise on all aspects of product development, including customer journey, channel analysis and legal and regulatory compliance. Keeping our division up-to-date with all industry developments, you'll also represent npower within the trade, promoting our reputation as a leader of technological innovation.
