With a combined generation capacity of over 11,000MW, our flexible power station portfolio consists of coal, oil, biomass and gas-fired stations, across the UK. We also operate 16 Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants.

The UK needs a diverse energy mix for the future, and we’re leading the way in new, low carbon and efficient technologies. We’ve invested billions of pounds in some of the most modern and efficient power stations in Europe, like our new Pembroke power station, which will supply enough energy for over 4 million homes across the country once operational.

We produce over 10% of the electricity used in the UK. It's a process which involves the use of 74 tonne electromagnets, 1160°C combustion chambers and 3000 revolution per minute turbines.

But our most valuable asset is the energy behind all of these facilities and equipment - our people. With roles varying from Operations, Maintenance, Control and Engineering, we need the very best people to generate electricity for homes and businesses across the UK.
