The Roles
- Change Planning
Providing planning expertise, business modelling and templates, this team works closely with the Heads of Development in other functions to create the high level Retail change plan for years 3 and beyond, in line with the strategic direction. The team enjoys responsibility for benchmarking, providing a knowledge repository for all external data, and managing commercial relationships. The roles within Change Planning are Retail Capability Manager, Strategic Change Planning Architect, Benchmarking Manager, and Benchmarking Architect.
- Change Delivery
This team works closely with sponsors, senior stakeholders and Heads of Development to turn their strategic plans into a programme of work, and support them in delivering the changes. Team members analyse available options and identify the best solutions - from processes and governance to reporting and delivery planning, and beyond. We aim to proactively develop a high performing team with outstanding skills. Roles within Change Delivery include: Programme Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Implementation Lead and Programme Office Support.
- Development - Change Excellence
Working across all areas of Retail and change management, this team understands and defines key requirements for change capability over the next 5 years (and beyond) and coordinates flows to bridge any gaps. They support change through a wide range of initiatives, including enhancing processes and co-ordinating the Operations change plan and business model. They'll develop the capability we have for change across Retail, providing coaching and governance for the tools used. Roles include Senior Development Manager, Development Manager and Internal Communications.
- Data Management and Continuous Improvement (CI)
This team defines and delivers the Data & Continuous Improvement capabilities for Retail - covering people, process and systems. They provide a range of services, from defining and delivering capability requirements to providing assurance for our data and process models. Ultimately, they provide npower with better decision-making capabilities and greater opportunities in the monitoring and improvement of its processes and activities to increase efficiencies and reduce cost. Roles include Delivery Manager, Capability Manager, Data Analyst, Modeller, Continuous Improvement Leader and Continuous Improvement Coordinator.
- Retail Service Resilience
Making sure we have robust systems and infrastructure in order to achieve our long-term business objectives, this team is responsible for a consistent approach to Property, Facilities, IS and BCM (Business Continuity Management) policies for the Retail business. They enable Retail to communicate their requirements with clear, consistent specifications, addressing all necessary issues in order to achieve the required level of service - particularly when undergoing change. The roles in Service Resilience are Resilience Manager and Resilience Analyst.
