Who are we looking for?
While our wide range of Professional Services roles means that we recruit people from a variety of backgrounds, there are some things that all our people have in common. We're looking for those who are keen to progress and develop their skills, and who can demonstrate a strong commitment to our values and objectives as a leading energy company.
Of course, some roles do demand a certain level of pre-qualification, but we're always keen to provide our people with the resources they need to gain new skills and experience.
Training and development
On your first day, you'll be given a tailored induction relevant to your business area and a chance to meet the team and build networks with the people you'll be working closely with. But your training won't end there. As well as holding our own in-house courses, npower also encourages and supports all its employees in the achievement of professional qualifications. Many of our Finance people are working towards their full accountancy qualifications, for example. You might also get the chance to go on a secondment, which is a great way to acquire and develop new skills and competencies in line with your personal development plans. Either way, the Development Plans you'll have will make sure you're getting the support you need to fulfil your ambitions to grow and develop.

If you're successful at the application stage, we'll invite you to an interview, followed by another if you progress through the first. We may ask you to give a presentation before making a final offer of employment.
