Training and development
Whether you are a fully accomplished salesperson within the industry or new to sales, you'll enjoy full training from the start of your employment, ensuring you're confident in your role. But it won't stop there. You'll continue to benefit from excellent ongoing training, making sure you're ready for further exciting career opportunities as they arise. For Field Sales Advisers, you must complete our 5-day residential training course to enable you to represent npower.
The recruitment process
Specific details of the recruitment process differ depending on the requirements of the role. All our roles are advertised within the Job Centre, in newspapers and on our website.
For some of our roles, if your application is successful, you will be invited to attend a competency based interview or you will be invited to attend a Recruitment Event to assess your skills and knowledge. This will help us make sure you have the right attitude, qualities and experience for the role.
As part of your application you will be require to supply proof of your identity and eligibility to work in the UK (original and copy) as well as proof of address and NI.
The below are examples of what we need to see:
- Proof of your Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport, Birth Certificate – Visa where applicable)
- Proof of Address (Bank Statement, Driving Licence, Utility Bill)
- Proof of National Insurance (P45, P60, Job Centre Letter, National Insurance card)
If you're successful, you'll receive a verbal offer of employment followed by a contract to sign, subject to satisfactory references. You’ll also receive more information about your start date and any other relevant information, such as training.
