RWE AG provides centralised group functions and management, including strategic planning, corporate governance, finance, communications and top level executive resource development.

RWE npower is responsible for the Group’s UK energy business and has operations spanning both generation and energy retail, for commercial and residential customers.

RWE Power is the Group’s power generator in mainland Europe, using coal, gas, oil, nuclear and renewable sources to generate revenues of nearly 7 billion euros per year.

RWE Systems runs our group-wide corporate services, including information technology, central procurement and real estate management.

RWE Trading represents the Group in the wholesale energy market, trading electricity, gas, coal, petroleum and derivatives used to hedge price risks.

RWE Dea AG, is active internationally in oil and gas production and exploration, with operations throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Africa and the Middle East.

RWE Gas Midstream processes gas to create specialist products for customers in many industries, including novel gas variants for new applications.

Generation & Renewables is responsible for power generation within the UK. Our flexible, low cost power stations use a spread of energy sources, including renewable options such as hydroelectric, biomass and wind.
