Our corporate headquarters is based in Swindon and supports our operations throughout the U.K. Whilst centralised corporate roles are based at HQ, Professional Services roles are also based at locations thoughout the UK.
We have the following professional services departments:
Finance
Our central finance team is responsible, at corporate level, for financial risk management, from contributing and coordinating the financial aspects of business strategy, and for procurement, tax, treasury and banking, Business Process Methodology and Infrastructure Systems.
Corporate Services
Corporate Services provide support services to the business through our Legal, Economic Regulation and Company Secretariat departments. Corporate Services help to deliver business objectives by providing advice, support and guidance that ensure the company is fully compliant with legal requirements, Regulations,
RWE Directives and best practice.
Communications
The Corporate Communications team is responsible for promoting our vision to key stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, the media, Government and the public. It is also their job to ensure that consistent messages about the company are presented in all communications and publications. The team also provides advice on a range of internal and external communication issues including media and Government relations, marketing material, corporate identity, Corporate Responsibility and sponsorship.
Human Resources
The HR Team's primary responsibilities are split across four main areas. They ensure that the company provides a framework of practice and policy to support its operations; they contribute to the development of strategy initiatives that fully utilise the talents of our people; they support day-to-day management processes, ensuring our management teams fulfil operational objectives through people; and finally we provide occupational health & safety and pensions services.
