With a combined generation capacity of over 11,000MW, our flexible power station portfolio consists of coal, oil, biomass and gas-fired stations, across the UK. We also operate 16 Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants.
We produce over 10% of the electricity used in the UK. It's a process which involves the use of 74 tonne electromagnets, 1160°C combustion chambers and 3000 revolution per minute turbines. But our most valuable asset is the energy behind all of these facilities and equipment - our people.
