Learn, develop, grow
We are committed to ensuring that you start out on a world-class development scheme. On joining, you’ll attend a week-long residential induction scheme, which will include meeting some of our board members. By the end of the week, you'll have the tools and techniques to be able to drive your Personal Development Plan (PDP) from your first day, enabling you to shape your career at RWE npower.
In addition, you’ll have a two-year development timetable. This comprehensive business skills programme includes a residential training course, which will give you a basic grounding in skills such as: stakeholder management, team dynamics, presentation skills and effective networking.
From the moment you join one of our schemes, you'll be assigned your own mentor and buddy. They'll already have a wealth of experience, in your area of interest and will be able to give you help and advice. You'll also be supported to take associated professional qualifications and will be taken through a programme of our internal, personal development workshops.
