RWE npower - facts and figures

 
In fiscal 2010, RWE npower’s turnover was €7,770 million.

We employ around 12,000 people at sites across the UK.

Over the past three years, RWE has invested over £1 billion a year in the UK, building new, low-carbon energy infrastructure and improving the environmental performance of our existing assets.

Our power station under construction in Pembroke will be the largest and most efficient gas-fired station in Europe

Horizon Nuclear Power, our joint venture with E.ON UK, aims to develop and construct around 6GW of new nuclear power station capacity, in the UK, by 2025.

We are investing £200 million in improvements to our front-line customer service.

Since it was established in 2000, the RWE npower Health Through Warmth scheme has accessed over £52 million to help improve the levels of warmth, comfort and quality of life for people whose health is made worse by cold, damp living conditions.

We are proud to hold the prestigious CommunityMark by Business in the Community (BiTC), in recognition of our long-term commitment to the community.

In 2010, we contributed £4.7 million to the community through charitable donations, community investment and commercial activities.

We have been listed in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers and The Top 50 Companies Where Women Want To Work for the last four years.
