Main Purpose

Work with the Energy Services Development Managers and the business areas to coordinate the identification, specification and prioritisation of change requirements, across people, process and systems, to support delivery of the business unit operating plan.

Principle Accountabilities

• Developing and supporting the business change relationship with defined areas of the business to support the capture, prioritisation and commissioning of business improvements leading to better achievement of business goals (e.g. financial, customer satisfaction, reputation, growth).

• Creating a positive culture of business improvement in that area, working with management and teams to implement ways of capturing new ideas and putting them into practice.

• Challenge the business on the need for requirements to ensure maximum return on investment in change.

• Work with the Retail Change teams to secure support from appropriate change professionals for agreed programmes and projects (e.g. by raising appropriate work orders and mandates)

• Coordinate user acceptance testing of business process and system changes to minimise delivery risk to the business

Key Competencies

• Delivery of business benefits for each project and provide input to the overall benefits for the change programme within defined areas

• Delivery of all communication in a timely and quality manner

• Documentation of business change requirements to specified standard

• Documentation of business cases for change, aligned and consistent with priorities for delivery of the local operating plan

Knowledge and Skills

• High level of business analysis skills

• Good report writing and presentation skills

• Experience and knowledge of User Acceptance Testing and project implementation support activities.

• Good communication skills within a business environment and across functions/ organisations (including into IS)

• Experience of project and change management

• An understanding of the importance of risk and issues management and a knowledge of the techniques to manage them

• Knowledgeable on Energy Services systems and business model/ processes (or capable of developing this knowledge quickly)

This role will be based in Burntwood/coventry

Salary: £20,000 - £30,000
