Energy Services Forecasting & Planning Analyst

Purpose of the role

Cica up to £39,000

A proven business planning manager, you’ll be accountable for producing annual business plans and quarterly re-forecasts for our Energy Services unit. You’ll be required both to run the process and to ensure future projections are rigorous and controlled. Supporting the Performance & Reporting Manager, you’ll help to make sure targets are appropriate - balancing the need to drive performance with the necessity to be achievable - and you’ll play an active role in the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives within the Controlling Team

Responsibilities

We’ll also expect you to work collaboratively and respectfully with senior stakeholders. Interpreting performance on their behalf, you’ll clearly link historic performance with projections,and maintain an accurate register of emerging risks and opportunities, as well as driving performance through robust and appropriate challenge. Your other duties in this varied role will include managing reports and overseeing processes.

Skills

A qualified accountant with proven, relevant experience in a retail-focussed environment, you have a proven ability to challenge assumptions and deliver real changes to way a business operates. With a track record of leading business forecasting teams, you’re able to understand and influence the whole business planning cycle. Process driven, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, you also have technical skills across finance systems, Excel and PowerPoint. When it comes to stakeholder management, your verbal communication style is as influential as your reports.
