Head of Strategy

A prominent figure within our Corporate Development & Strategy team, you’ll have every opportunity to make a visible impact upon our success. You’ll build on the good work of our recent strategic review – fine tuning the results and turning them into an ambitious strategic roadmap for your business area. This will involve defining key projects and outlining ways in which our Performance Units (PUs) can achieve their strategic objectives and financial targets. The key to your success will be your ability to gain the respect and trust of our PU Directors, because the relationships you build will help you deliver the changes required.

These are high-profile roles, so we’re looking for heavyweight strategic and commercial thinkers. You’ll have the credibility, dynamism and stakeholder management skills needed to hold your own and drive ideas through at the very highest levels. The proven ability to deliver business improvements by turning strategies into action is vital too. And you must have a broad understanding of the UK energy retail market – its dynamics, its drivers and, above all, its opportunities.
