In this role, you will be accountable for driving performance and inspiring change to support the company’s current 5 year business plan. You’ll be leading Risk Management meetings with departmental managers as well as a range of different colleagues across the business, everything you do will have the ultimate goal of influencing change within the npower business. You will also work closely with the finance department to support business planning re-forecasts with accurate data and recommendations, agreeing targets that bring mutual benefit to different business areas.
This role will also see you carrying out a number of other duties, such as supporting the creation of financial benefit cases for both CAPEX and OPEX requirements, as well as creating and presenting management information to influence the strategic direction of the business as a whole. Managing relationships with both Internal and External Stakeholders will also be a key priority for you.
You will also be expected to keep up-to-date with technological and economic changes in the industry, wider business community and also changes to working practices across npower, you will use this information to provide solutions to internal customers’ issues that utilise this knowledge as best as possible.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one Forecasting Analyst, assisting them with their work activities and personal development.
Ideally educated to degree level, you should have general management and business skills plus a broad base of industry knowledge. You should also be aware of the regulations and legislation that govern the industry. The ability to network and build strong working-relationships is essential, as well as an advanced understanding of numeracy and analytical skills. Strong technical and IT skills would also be ideal.
