Accountabilities:

Management of suppliers, ensuring that the business is receiving products and services in line with contractually agreed SLAs

Effective account management of numerous external public and private sector suppliers and partnerships, both new and existing to deliver energy services products and projects; for example CERT

Day to day account management of existing partners to optimise supplier delivery, e.g. CERT in order to reduce risk and increase value

Overall responsibility for market price and service level benchmarking of existing suppliers

Undertake continual existing supplier reviews ensuring KPI metrics and business expectations are communicated to suppliers and users

Provide suppliers and business with trend reports and predictive analytics supporting forecast requirements

Assume overall responsibility for the calculation and collection of rebates

Deliver all activity to meet business plan objectives including carbon savings, cost effectiveness targets, value added and business integration

Develop new opportunities through existing or new relationships, forming innovative and successful external partnerships for all business areas including CERT

Work closely with both Legal and Procurement to revise procurement and contractual agreements, as and when appropriate

Ensure quality standards are met in line with the relevant regulatory and technical standards and business practices

Management of an administration and analytical team

Plan and evaluate service delivery indicators, i.e. cost to serve, etc to identify potential shortfall and enhancement opportunities and implement appropriate action

Devise, review and approve annual operational and capital expenditure plans where appropriate within delegated authority controls

Take action to prevent costs exceeding budgets

Take personal responsibility for Health and Safety within the Commercial & Supply Chain function and ensure that all policies, procedures and long term Corporate goals are adhered to

Knowledge and Skills

Good understanding of the UK Energy Services business fundamentals and support requirements essential

Sound working knowledge of the procurement process and contractual structures

General management and business skills plus a broad base of industry knowledge

Experience of the management of an administration and analytical team

A thorough understanding of the commercial drivers within the Energy Services business including the energy efficiency market, specifically around third parties such as social housing providers or managing agents and their motivation is a prerequisite to this role

Must have a clear understanding of what is important for npower from CERT delivery.

Experience in the ability to drive delivery of new projects, and manage a range of high value projects in parallel

Health and Safety qualification – IOSH preferred

Competent in the use of Microsoft Office is a must

Advanced motorist qualification preferred

Salary: £31,000
