A Day in the Life
To give you a flavour of the work we will be undertaking in Leeds, take a look at how we see the roles of Key Users and Business Leads.
Key User
Working in Dataflow Management, Billing, Marketing, Sales, CRM & E-commerce, Finance, Commercial, Product Management or Collection & Debt, you’ll perform a vital role in ensuring the customer experience we deliver contribute to Turning Customers into Fans. Others within the project will draw on your business knowledge on a daily basis and ask for your advice on how the new processes will work within npower.
You’ll attend workshops, be involved in meetings and spend a fair bit of time gathering your thoughts and working on your own. Your manager will be a Business Lead who’ll work closely with you to champion change in your business area.
Your tasks on a daily basis will never the same. One day you could be working with analysts to map out the new business processes; the next updating your business area on the progress of Atlas.
Looking further ahead, the focus of your role will change as we near ‘go live’. You’ll get involved in designing and producing training materials, help guides, etc. You may give presentations. You’ll certainly spend time coaching your colleagues and helping them understand the new ways of working.
The variety of the role and the pace of the project will ensure you’re constantly being challenged and experiencing something new. You’ll work in a multi-talented team, focussed on the same goal – to make Atlas a success for npower! You’ll enjoy the co-operation and play a vital part in making the project a success.
It will be tough but, if you are energetic, team spirited and relish a challenge, Atlas is for you.
