Roles
At MeterPlus we have a range of roles, including Business Support & Administrative roles, Billing, Business Reporting & Analysis, Contract Management, Change Management and Project Management. However, the main positions we recruit into are:
Meter Reader
In these field based roles, you will be visiting around 280 customers every day, reading electric and gas meters for npower and/or a number of utility service providers across a variety of locations in the North of England and East Midlands.
Metering Fixer / Electrician
Responsible for the installation and repair of electric and gas meters, you will be visiting up to 25 customers a day for npower and/or a number of utility service providers across a variety of locations in the North of England and East Midlands.
Revenue Recovery / Protection
As a Revenue Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for discussing and negotiating our customers' outstanding accounts and agreeing various options to obtain full settlement. You will also install token/key meters, attend court to apply for warrants and execute warrants following this, carry out gas and electricity safety inspections, visit vacant sites to complete property status reports and investigate and report on disputed accounts to suppliers.
Call Centre Advisor
As a Call Centre Advisor, you will handle calls from suppliers, meter operators and customers. In addition, you will help manage our health and safety van/operative tracking system and be a first point of contact for the field staff lone working policy.
Clerical Assistants
You will undertake a variety of administrative duties, including data input, general correspondence, scheduling of work for field operatives, providing accurate and timely statistics and invoices reflecting business performance and the administration of Productivity Schemes.
