And while energy is our bread and butter, that doesn’t mean roles here are limited to power engineers and customer services roles. As we supply energy to around 5.1 million customers, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make sure we not only service our customer to the best of our abilities, but also satisfy our commercial requirements. The means we need people working across a huge variety of different career areas, from HR and resourcing through to IT, project management and digital. 

Jobs at every level 

As well as having opportunities across different business areas, we also have roles at every level, from early careers through to senior positions within our executive management team. Many of our people start as students in our internships and graduate schemes, training in particular areas before moving their way through the business. Others come to us mid-way in their careers, perhaps without energy experience but with the right attitude and aptitude.
