Commercial & Marketing Graduate Programme

Our scheme

The scheme will allow you to complete a variety of 4 placements over a 2 year period, allowing you to build a solid grounding in sales, marketing, pricing and other commercially focussed business segments. Each placement brings its unique challenge and opportunity for you to develop to become a future leader within npower.

You will explore:

  • Managing pricing decisions
  • Product Development - designing and delivering new products for our residential customers
  • External affairs
  • Credit risk strategy
  • Creating new sales channels
  • Optimising our vulnerable customer strategy
  • Understanding what customers want and putting plans in place to make this happen
  • Creating and executing award winning marketing campaigns
  • Working in a start-up business environment to retail new products to customers with Powershop


What we look for

As a Commercial & Marketing graduate, you will:
  • Demonstrate a commercial understand within each business segment
  • Evidence a proven track record of delivery and problem solving
  • Willingness to adapt to change and provide alternative perspectives
  • Provide a customer focused approach and identify its importance within your role


Essential Information

Entry Requirements: Minimum of a 2:2 degree
Base Location: Solihull and the Birmingham area
Scheme duration: 2 years
Salary: Starting salary of £26,500 with an excellent reward package. You’ll also get a £2,500 joining bonus
